This ten-minute opera imagines an abusive relationship between Ricky Ricardo and Lucille Ball.
Lucy and Ricky have just had another fight, leaving Lucy with a black eye. Fred and Ethel try to console her, but Ricky wins them all over with the lucrative power of reruns. These reruns keep them young and beautiful forever, but also keep them repeating the same mistakes again and again.
