FRIENDLY PERSUASIONS: Homage to Poulenc (2008)

Four songs for tenor and piano. Poetry by Gene Scheer, based on four transformative friendships and meetings in Francis Poulenc’s life. First Performance: April 9, 2008 at the Wigmore Hall, London, featuring tenor John Mark Ainsley and pianist Malcolm Martineau.
